The Compass Project & Student Success TechnologiesThe COMPASS (Comprehensive Analytics for Student Success) project is a cross-functional initiative focused on undergraduate student success. This multi-part project focuses on bringing relevant student data to campus advisors, faculty, and administrators with the goal of providing actionable information to improve undergraduate student outcomes. The project draws on staff within the Office of the Vice Provost of Teaching and Learning, the Office of Institutional Research, and the Office of Information Technology in strong partnership with the directors of undergraduate academic advising in each school, as well as academic administrators throughout the University. |

OVPTL ITOVPTL IT works with Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching & Learning staff to understand their business processes and streamline their operations. They provide custom applications and needed data in convenient formats to OVPTL (Division of Undergraduate Education, Division of Teaching Excellence & Innovation, and Summer Session). As a Scrum team, they follow Agile principles and have an iterative process of developing, testing, and updating projects over time. |

Athletics ITThe Athletics IT team supports student-athletes, coaches, staff, and volunteers within the UCI Intercollegiate Athletics department. They also lead and coordinate the implementation of projects that involve vendors, Athletics coaches and staff, and other teams within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Some examples of their services include game-day and event technology support, specialized software management, web application development and integration, and mobility solutions. |

UC RecruitThe UC Recruit system automates and streamlines much of the academic personnel recruiting process. From job posting, applying, reference gathering, reviewing by the search committee, selecting a hired candidate and, finally, archiving all materials in accordance with University policies and legal considerations, the system also aids campus equal opportunity employment efforts and annual Affirmative Action reporting requirements. Over 600,000 applicants have used UC Recruit across the 11 UC locations. Approximately over 3.5 million documents and reference letters have been uploaded into the system, saving paper and time for increasingly over-assigned staff and faculty committees juggling multiple priorities. |

Chancellor and Provost ITChancellor & Provost IT provides custom software support for the Offices of the Chancellor & Provost, as well as Academic Personnel, Academic Planning (including Academic Initiatives), Global Engagement (including Study Abroad Center), Inclusive Excellence, OEOD, Ombudsman, Public Records Office, Academic Senate, and Whistleblower. Whether home-grown or commercial, legacy or current, C&PIT supports a wide range of applications beyond the standard desktop software. Their team serves as a liaison for these offices to other groups within OIT. |
